A BITSAT score is used for integrated first-degree admissions (B.E., B.Pharm and M.Sc.) at three BITS campuses. Seats are allotted in iterations based on your score and the preferences you submit.
The original campus in Rajasthan, established in 1964. It usually has the highest closing scores, especially for Computer Science and Electronics.
Get Pilani Cutoff Guide →A coastal campus in Zuarinagar, Goa, known for strong engineering programmes, an active student culture and its technical and cultural fests.

Submit your Class 12 marks and programme preferences. Seats are allotted in iterations based on your best BITSAT score.
BITSAT questions are usually more direct than JEE Advanced, but the time pressure is intense. Your score depends on speed, accuracy and covering every section.
A large share of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions are NCERT-level. Inorganic and organic chemistry facts pay off quickly.
These 30 questions are worth 90 marks and take the least time. A strong attempt here can lift your score by 60+ marks.
Take full-length mocks in a single 3-hour sitting. Aim for 110+ attempts while keeping accuracy above 85%.
Track wrong answers and slow questions by chapter. Negative marking punishes guesswork, so skip questions you cannot solve quickly.
Not yet. BITS Pilani usually releases the BITSAT notification and application form early in the admission year. This page will be updated once the official BITSAT 2027 notice is published on bitsadmission.com.
In the latest pattern, BITSAT has 130 questions for 390 marks, to be solved in 3 hours in computer-based mode. Each correct answer earns +3 and each wrong answer carries −1.
In recent cycles BITSAT has been conducted in two sessions, and candidates could register for one or both. The better of the two scores was considered for admission. Confirm the 2027 rules in the official brochure.
BITSAT questions are generally NCERT-based and more direct, but you have to solve 130 questions in 180 minutes and also cover English and Logical Reasoning. Speed and accuracy matter more than solving very difficult problems.
Board marks are used only to check eligibility, for example the minimum PCM percentage. Once you are eligible, merit is decided only by your BITSAT score.
